ImageMap Inc. Receives ISO 9001:2000 Certification
Columbia, SC, USA (26 October 2004)--ImageMap Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of track geometry measurement and rail inspection products for the railroad industry worldwide, is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO 9001:2000 registration. The achievement of ISO 9001:2000 registration assures that quality systems have been implemented in all product development, production, shipping, and support operations and acknowledges our commitment to meeting the needs and requirements of our customers in a global marketplace.
The registration validates ImageMap’s conformance with the standards set by the International Organization for Standardization. ISO 9001 is a program of standards for quality management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement that have been adopted by over 90 countries around the world.
ImageMap began working towards registration in 2004 and selected Quality Assurance Systems, Ltd. (QAS) a leader in standards development and certification, to undertake the assessment of ImageMap’s quality processes and procedures. QAS has served as a registrar for a number of companies around the world.
